Idiot of the week
And the winner is: Hal Turner! This individual, who has the significance of a creepy-crawly who should flagellate himself to pulp for his words, is our idiot of the week. He is a fellow blogger from North Bergen, New Jersey, who recently was charged with threatening the lives of three federal judges.
The three targeted men are heroic people who were wise enough to decline in a court ruling to overturn laws banning handguns in Chicago and a suburb nearby. Turner's Machiavellian suggestion to an onslaught is a reflection of the true nature in the Second Amendment's right to bear arms. I firmly allow Turner to be used as a general stereotypical representation of the NRA, that should be called the Nut Radical Ass-holes, who use the medieval spaghetti western movies constitutional amendment to eradicate their onrush thirst for guns and violence.
It is clear that the country has a gun problem, as Michael Moore presented in his documentary Bowling for Columbine. Moore suggested that the situation derives from the media, who instill an atmosphere of fear in the population. Whether Moore is right or not, truth is that there are just too many guns in the country-period!
Morons such as this dude Turner are more of a bad influence in criminals than Marylin Manson, the criticized singer in the documentary, who are appealing to violent matters with words such as "deserve to be killed", also mentioning in the article the judges' phone numbers and addresses. Turner is too dumb to realize that nobody really defends themselves with a gun against a threat, as the amendment defends. How many people do actually protect themselves every year with guns, besides police officers? Two, three?
How many people in the country die every year because of guns?
More than ten thousand. That is a bit more than two or three, in my opinion. So the solution is simple: no guns in the territory, no people dying of guns in the territory.
For whoever is reading this, suggest the article to a friend. There has to be a change in the Constitution as soon as possible.
Turner's arrest is a victory for whoever likes this post. Turner is not a criminal and perhaps his arrest is excessive and unnecessary, but he is still an idiot.
